We're excited to announce the above artists as our midnight controllers. They've been carefully selected to bring us maximum nighttime pleasure.

Force of Natureとしてもその名は十分知れ渡ってるKZA。Mule MusiqからリリースされているMix CDに表現されているとおり、ハウス、ブレイクス、ディスコ、テクノそしてダブといったあらゆるテイストをブレンドしたスタイルが特徴。特に最新のリリースである"Starting to Feel OK"は秀作である。

KZA, aka Force of Nature, is the man with one of the most ridiculous vinyl collections in Japan. He's the master of blending house, breaks, cosmic disco, techno, and dub, and has released numerous cd's as Force of Nature (with Dj Kent), as well as several mix cd's with Mule Musiq (check out his latest, "Starting to Feel OK").

幅広いジャンルに渡る音楽の膨大なコレクションを持ち、またそれらに精通しているMaxxrelax。最近では音楽だけでなく、映像、本、デザイン、と他分野に渡る音楽レーベル"Black Maps"を展開中。 

Maxxrelax is a face familiar to backrooms in Tokyo. A long-time resident of Japan, Max has a serious collection of music that spans all genres, and he's happy to share it with music lovers of open minds. Max's latest project is "Black Maps", a label that is music-driven but which will extend to film shorts, books, design commissions and photography.

Sendaiは Peter Van HoesenとEavesdropperによる最新のプロジェクト。カッティングエッジなテクノのプロデューサーであると同時に、クラブミュージックに関わらず、音楽に対して広く興味を持つふたりは、普段インスタレーションやコンテンポラリーアートの演劇音楽の作成にも携わっている。そんなふたりが展開するMidnight Loungeのセットは非常に興味深い。

Sendai is the latest project from Peter Van Hoesen & Eavesdropper. Both Peter and Yves (Eavesdropper) have musical interests that extend far beyond the typical club. In addition to producing cutting-edge techno, they're both involved in sound design and compositions for installations and contemporary dance and theatre performances. A midnight lounge set from these two with deep record bags is something to get excited about.

真夜中の星空の下、Funktion-Oneで聴くnatural/electroni.systemほどディープなサウンドはないだろう。月曜のメインフロアのトリを務めるDonato Dozzyのアンビエント・セットからシームレスに続くN/E.S.のアンビエント＆エクスペリメンタルなダウンビート・サウンドが、どこまでも深い音の迷宮へと誘ってくれることだろう。

natural/electronic.system at midnight. Yes. It doesn't get much deeper than N/E.S. on a Funktion-One system under the stars. These two friends from Italy are going to follow Donato Dozzy's closing ambient dj set on Monday night with their special blend of ambient/experimental downbeat music.

メインフロアのみならず、セカンドフロア・セットも得意とするEric Cloutier。NYのブルックリンで彼がオーガナイズするフリーパーティー"Down"では、普段テクノパーティーで掛けることのない曲にスポットライトを当て、通常とはまた違ったクラブが楽しめる一夜となっている。Midnight Loungeでもlow keyなセットを展開する。

Eric Cloutier specializes in both the main room and the back room. He puts on special free nights in Brooklyn called "Down", which he describes as an event "basically created out of my own personal desire to hear something outside of the normal dancefloor affair, as well finally use some music that i've owned and adored for years that i never get to play." This will be a set of low-slung dance music for those with funk in their hips.
